You will be able to apply for properties through Hart Homes if you are a have completed an application and been added to the Hart Housing register. For details on how to apply to join the housing register click Who Can Use the Service.
Either at the start of the scheme or when you are accepted on to the housing register we will write to tell you:
You must tell us if there are any changes in your circumstances so that we can reassess your application and if necessary make changes to your points, bedroom entitlement and effective date. Your points will not usually change unless your circumstances change with the exception of waiting time points (5 points awarded on the anniversary of your effective date for each year you are waiting up to a maximum of 25points)
You will be registered according to the size of home you need. The table on below shows you the size of property that matches the size of your family:

If you are separated or divorced and sometimes care for your children, we will look at how often and for how long the children stay with you. This is to establish whether it is appropriate for you to be considered for a property with additional bedrooms for your children.
Consideration may also be given to awarding additional bedrooms for applicants who are affected by medical conditions that mean they require additional space. See for further information about how health can be taken into account.
* Please note that there is a severe shortage of affordable rented accommodation in the Hart District – particularly larger family sized accommodation.
