How will the Council give my application priority?
The Council uses a bedroom standard to determine your eligability for properties and a points scheme to prioritise applications. If applicants are on the same amount of points the one who has been on the Housing Register longest will be given priority.
To see the reasons for which points are awarded as well as how the bedroom standard is assessed and any other frequently asked questions see the document 'Applying for a Home'? ?(pdf)
If you are eligible to join the Housing Register, you will be awarded points dependent on your individual circumstances. For more information on this please see www.hart.gov.uk/housing for frequently asked questions as well as downloadable leaflets on various topics regarding housing.
